The Mendocino Coast Jewish Community shul is located in downtown Caspar, halfway between Mendocino village and Fort Bragg, California on the beautiful and rugged northern California coast. We are about 150 miles from the San Francisco Bay Area and separated from the next closest Jewish community by a coastal range of mountains.

We think of ourselves as a contemporary "shtetl",
a spiritual and social home for all interested Jewish people and their loved ones who live on the Mendocino coast.
Many events at the Caspar shul are still being conducted on Zoom, but some activities are taking place outside. Other in-person gatherings like the Shabbat minyan, are also available for interactive Zoom participation. The reopening policy for the next phase is here
Links for the many events on ZOOM are posted on the Online Calendar, in the Megillah newsletter, and on the Events page.
