Margaret Holub has been our rabbi since 1989 (and she has led High Holy Day services in our community since 1984). She was raised in Southern California and attended Hebrew Union College in Jerusalem, Los Angeles and New York, where she was ordained in 1986.

After ordination she returned to Los Angeles, where she worked as an organizer with homeless people on Skid Row for three years before coming up to Mendocino to be our rabbi.

She is a member of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association. Margaret takes great pleasure in growing up with our community. She's a quilter and loves plastic jewelry.
