TORAH School Commandments

At the last torah school, we learned about the ten commandments for the first time. In our Torah study we thought about what we would choose for commandments to live a good Jewish life. Here are some of our suggestions:

  1. Cooperation
  2. Observing Shabbat
  3. Prayer
  4. Not Disturbing Other People's Privacy
  5. Kindness
  6. Not Lying
  7. Honoring Elders
  8. Not Stealing
  9. Not Being Jealous
  10. Not Killing
  11. Not Abusing God
  12. Not Polluting
  13. Not Being Conceited or Boastful
  14. Not Taking More Than Your Share
  15. Not Beating People Up
  16. Listening to Your Leaders
  17. Play Fairly
  18. Not Trespassing
  19. Obey Your Parents
  20. Trust Each Other
  21. No Drinking or Smoking
  22. No Radioactive Weapons
  23. No War, except for thumb wars and card games
  24. Be Friendly
  25. No Ransoming or Ransacking
  26. Load on Latkes during Chanukah
  27. Always Try Your Hardest
  28. Help Those in Need
  29. Don't be Prejudiced or Judgmental
  30. Don't Run Around Like Wild Hyenas
  31. Don't Be Greedy
  32. Study Torah
