The Mendocino Megilah is published monthly. The Megillah includes announcements, regular features like Rabbi Margaret Holub's Rabbi's Notes and Ellen Saxes's Eppes Essen.
The deadline for submission of articles is the 10th of the month before desired publication. The editor will include all appropriate material, space permitting with the exception of copyrighted material that does not have permission of the author. The material printed in the Megillah is not the policy or representative of the opinions of the Board of Directors of Mendocino Coast Jewish Community. Divergent opinions are welcome.
A subscription to the Megillah is included with a contributing membership of $150.00 or more. A subscription alone to the newsletter is $25.00 per year. Checks can be made payable to MCJC and mailed to Box 291, Little River, CA. 95456.
The Megillah and special announcements are available via email. To be added to the email llst write to megillah@mcjc.org.
The email is sent out in enhanced format (html) and should be viewable on most PC and Apple's. If you see strange commands like <html> and <p> you should request that you be placed on the list to receive "plain text" email.The E-Megillah contains links to the www.mcjc.org website for larger articles. This is done to reduce the size of the email. Clicking on these links should open a web browser, and leave your email program open.
